Labor And Employment Attorney

Role Description: The Labor and Employment Attorney will handle a broad range of labor and employment matters, including counseling clients, drafting and reviewing employment policies, and managing employment-related disputes and litigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, and participating in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as needed. The attorney will work closely with clients to assess risk, develop case strategy, and provide clear, business-focused advice on workplace issues. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent collaboration with colleagues and clients through digital platforms and occasional travel when necessary.

Qualifications: Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience in Labor and Employment Law. Proficiency in Employment Litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and courtroom or hearing practice. Advanced Research skills applied to statutes, regulations, case law, and administrative guidance. Experience drafting high-quality Motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents. Active bar license in at least one of the firm’s jurisdictions (e.g., CA, NY, NJ, AZ, TX, NM), in good standing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clear legal analysis. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team. Strong client service orientation, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Prior experience with technology-driven legal practice and case management tools is beneficial. Minimum of 3–5 years of labor and employment law experience preferred.
