Water Systems Specialist

What You'll Do: Operate and inspect drinking water and wastewater treatment systems Perform routine water and wastewater sampling and testing Monitor treatment processes and make operational adjustments as needed Inspect wells, treatment equipment, distribution systems, lift stations, lagoons, clarifiers, filtration systems, and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance and assist with system repairs Troubleshoot pumps, motors, controls, floats, piping, and treatment equipment Maintain required operational logs and documentation Assist with regulatory compliance and reporting Respond to service calls and emergency situations when necessary Travel between client facilities within the assigned service area Work independently as well as alongside other Prestige H2O team members Required & Preferred Qualifications We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined, self-motivated professionals with strong troubleshooting skills who are comfortable working independently at multiple client facilities.

Drinking Water Certifications: Preferred S-4 or higher D-4 or higher

Industrial Wastewater Certifications: Preferred A-1b A-1f B-2a C-2a C-2c C-3a C-3b Additional municipal or industrial wastewater certifications are strongly valued. We will consider the overall combination of licenses, hands-on experience, and ability to operate multiple treatment systems. Strong wastewater licensing and experience may be considered even without all preferred drinking water certifications. A valid driver's license is required.

What We're Looking For: Hands-on water or wastewater treatment experience Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Michigan water and/or wastewater certifications The ability to work independently in the field Strong attention to operational procedures and documentation Dependability and a strong work ethic The ability to travel between multiple client facilities Don't have every certification listed?
