Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

Location: Franklin, TN 37067 (southern Nashville)

Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance Founded in 1925 we are a nationally recognized general contractor employing 1,000 professionals across multiple offices, with about 50 employees based in Franklin, TN. We deliver complex commercial projects across healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and corporate markets. The Franklin office specializes in preconstruction and estimating services for regional clients, supporting pursuits and delivery of large-scale institutional and commercial projects. The Senior Estimator will lead the full budget lifecycle, providing accurate and competitive estimates, guiding design-phase cost input, and partnering with operations to ensure successful project outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing: Lead and manage the full budget lifecycle from conceptual design through bid, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness Prepare and present budgets and executive summaries to clients, clearly communicating cost drivers and risks Oversee trade scoping and subcontractor bid analysis, ensuring full scope coverage and pricing accuracy Partner with Preconstruction and Operations teams to align project assumptions and support winning pursuit strategies Mentor and develop junior estimators, improving technical capabilities and consistency across the estimating team What You Need for This Position Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred 7+ years of experience in construction estimating or preconstruction with a commercial general contractor Advanced expertise in cost modeling, conceptual and detailed estimating, and risk management strategies Proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, and OST or equivalent quantity take-off software Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
