Water / Wastewater Operator - 24842

Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues; implement corrective actions during assigned shifts Perform preventive maintenance on plant systems to ensure reliability and efficiency of utility distribution and treatment processes Monitor and operate equipment including gauges, meters, valves, pumps and motors; adjust chemical dosages and flow rates as needed Operate and monitor PLC and SCADA systems for process control Ensure compliance with company and project policies and procedures; report any deviations Maintain accurate daily logs, rounds, lab records and prepare required reports Utilize and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to optimize maintenance activities and documentation Collect samples and conduct routine laboratory tests on influent, effluent, biosolids and industrial discharges Manage biosolids processing, hauling and application in accordance with schedules and regulations Participate in safety meetings, training sessions and process control discussions Make operational decisions in the absence of supervisory staff Communicate operational needs and changes to supervisors to maintain safe and efficient operations Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDA valid Drivers LicenseA valid Grade 2 Wastewater CertificationA valid Grade 2 Water Distribution Certification 3+ years experience operations wastewater treatment facilities Knowledge of valves, pumps, motors and laboratory testing methods Ability to operate PLC and SCADA systems Pando Logic.
