Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities: Secure all externally purchased and intercompany components needed throughout the project's development phase Obtain quotes and identify sources for production materials, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule goals are met within the product development process Run the RFI and RFQ cycle from start to finish Benchmark and compare suppliers to confirm the company is getting competitive offers Drive supplier selection decisions in line with company guidelines Oversee contract execution and ensure it follows internal policies Negotiate volumes, pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (4-year) in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Management, or Engineering, or an Associate degree (2-year) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Engineering plus at least 5 years of relevant experience

Required: 5 years of procurement experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier) within medium- to high-volume manufacturing Background in electro-mechanical automotive components is a plus

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of financial evaluation techniques such as NPV, IRR, and ROIUnderstanding of logistics and material requirements planning Advanced proficiency in SAPHands-on exposure to automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 / TS 16949, along with ISO 9001 Comfortable with PC applications, including the Microsoft Office suite
