Senior Associate Attorney

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Associate Attorney to play a pivotal role in our growing practice. In this on-site role, you will take full ownership of a diverse caseload—from initial client intake to final resolution—delivering pragmatic guidance and robust courtroom advocacy. You will work directly with clients, develop strategic case plans, and serve as a trusted mentor to junior team members.

What You'll Do: Manage End-to-End Litigation: Lead cases through research, motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and court appearances. Advise & Advocate: Provide clear, actionable advice to clients and advocate fiercely for their interests in family law and probate matters. Drive Case Strategy: Collaborate with partners to formulate creative legal strategies and resolve complex legal issues efficiently. Mentor & Grow: Support the growth of junior staff, contribute to firm initiatives, and uphold high standards of ethical practice.

Qualifications: Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law and apply them to complex factual scenarios. Experience in Family Law. Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, translating legal concepts into understandable guidance and action plans. Proficient in legal research, including use of legal databases and preparation of well-supported memoranda and briefs. Skilled in negotiation, with experience in resolving disputes, drafting settlement agreements, and advocating effectively for client interests. Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Several years (7-10) of experience as an attorney, preferably in a law firm setting with litigation or employment-related practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and commitment to client service and ethical practice.
