Energy Storage & Distribution Lead

Doroni is building a two-seat eVTOL on the LSA/MOSAIC certification path, and we are hiring the engineer who will own its entire energy storage and distribution system, end to end. This is an individual-contributor role on a lean discipline-lead team. You define the architecture, execute the core work, and direct subcontractors where needed, working closely with Propulsion, Structures, and Systems Engineering at every aircraft-level interface. What you will own Develop the energy storage and high-voltage distribution architecture, from charging inlet through the PDU output bus. Size the battery system against mission energy and peak-power demand across all flight phases. Drive cell-chemistry selection and pack architecture through trade analysis. Own battery thermal management and define interfaces to the aircraft-level TMS.Lead technical compliance for DO-311A and DO-254, and support the Systems and Certification Lead on formal documentation. Identify and manage the subcontractors and vendors needed to execute development. Specify the first test article and drive it to build readiness. Represent the discipline in aircraft-level design trades and influence vehicle configuration.
