Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale data center construction project in Waco, Texas. This role will be responsible for cost management, quantity take-offs, contract administration, change management, and overall commercial support throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate scope quantification. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate subcontractor bids, pricing proposals, and contractual agreements. Manage change orders, variations, claims, and cost impacts associated with project changes. Track project progress and provide regular cost reporting to project stakeholders. Support procurement activities and assist with subcontract administration. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and schedule requirements. Collaborate closely with project managers, construction managers, engineers, and contractors. Assist in the preparation of monthly commercial reports and final account settlements. Ensure compliance with contract terms, project controls processes, and company procedures.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer, Commercial Manager, or similar role within large-scale construction projects. Experience supporting complex industrial, mission-critical, data center, semiconductor, power, energy, or large commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, change management, and cost controls. Experience with quantity take-offs, estimating, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project controls/cost management software. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work onsite in the Waco, Texas area.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous data center construction experience. Experience working in fast-paced EPC, general contractor, or owner's representative environments. Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or major construction contract frameworks. Professional certifications such as RICS, CCP, CEP, or equivalent.
