Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. Stays current and participates departmental training offered. through polite communication with all co- workers/customers. • Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements. Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program Must meet all educational requirements necessary to obtain ARRT certification according to your graduation date. Current ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Current NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology License ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography required within 12 months of hire
