Propulsion Integration Engineer Overview: The Staff Propulsion Integration Engineer will lead propulsion system architecture for advanced unmanned aircraft, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and optimize propulsion systems from concept to flight. Provide technical leadership in propulsion integration, mentoring engineers and defining strategies for future aircraft propulsion systems. Engage with suppliers and partners to oversee external engineering activities and hardware delivery. Contribute to the development of cutting-edge unmanned aircraft technologies in a dynamic and innovative environment. Ensure propulsion systems meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards through rigorous testing and analysis. Integration Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties: Lead propulsion system design, integration, and optimization for advanced unmanned aircraft. Conduct propulsion trade studies and performance assessments to balance technical and cost constraints. Design, prototype, and validate propulsion components and systems from concept to flight readiness. Plan and execute propulsion development programs, including laboratory, ground, and flight testing. Analyze test data, investigate failures, and implement corrective actions to enhance system reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful propulsion integration throughout development. Mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and promoting best practices in propulsion engineering. Support customer demonstrations, flight test operations, and field activities as needed. Staff

Propulsion Integration Engineer Job Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.12+ years of experience in propulsion system design, integration, and testing for aircraft. Expertise in gas turbine engine operation and propulsion-airframe integration. Proficiency in mechanical CAD and manufacturing processes, including machining and composites. Experience with propulsion system testing, data analysis, and performance optimization. Strong communication skills to influence teams and drive engineering decisions. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Preferred experience with Siemens NX, FADEC development, and supplier management.
