Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction estimating, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates. Collaborate with the pre-construction team to ensure project feasibility. Evaluate project proposals and provide feedback to stakeholders. Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions. Assist in the preparation of bid documents and contract negotiations. Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
