Construction Project Manager

Role Description: The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Diego, CA, with a mix of on-site project oversight and some work-from-home flexibility for planning and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating residential construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes. The role involves conducting site visits, monitoring progress and quality, resolving field issues, and maintaining safety standards. The Construction Project Manager will communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams, prepare and update project documentation, and support permits, inspections, and change order processes. This position plays a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with New Age Design and Build’s quality standards.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management to oversee residential remodeling and outdoor living projects effectively. Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Coordination skills to manage timelines, resources, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication. Candidates should possess proven Budgeting skills to develop estimates, control costs, track expenses, and support accurate project financial reporting. Experience with residential construction, remodeling, or outdoor living projects, including familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes, is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, field teams, and vendors, are required. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents, and to solve on-site problems efficiently, is preferred. Proficiency with project management software, spreadsheets, and digital collaboration tools is advantageous. A relevant degree or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
