Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 seeks an Assistant Shift Operator to perform entry-level semi-skilled work in a wastewater treatment plant on an assigned shift. You will inspect equipment, take samples, add chemicals, and record readings to support plant operations. Under supervision of a Shift Operator, you may work rotating shifts and extended hours. A high school diploma is required; residency in NY, NJ or CT and medical clearance may be needed.
