Job Description As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to grow with a company that invests in its people.
Responsibilities:
Install and terminate copper/fiber cables Mount and install telecom equipment such as racks, cabinets, patch panels, and switches Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Troubleshoot and maintain systems, performing upgrades as needed Work in diverse environments: commercial buildings, data centers, residential properties Follow all safety standards and regulations Maintain accurate records of installations and maintenance activities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred 2-5 years of experience in structured cabling or low-voltage installation Knowledge of cabling standards and network infrastructure Ability to read and interpret technical documents Proficiency with hand and power tools Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Physical ability to lift equipment and work in various environments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (CDL a plus)Certifications such as BICSI or FOA are preferred Why Join Us?
